Scambi internazionali

Noi, classe 3bl, dal 23 febbraio al 10 marzo 2015 ci siamo recati in scambio culturale a Orlando, Florida, nella scuola superiore Timber Creek High School. Siamo stati accompagnati dai docenti di lingue Inglese e Tedesca, organizzatrici e sostenitrici di questa esperienza così importante all’interno della nostra formazione scolastica e personale.

This exchange has been an amazing experience for me. I have seen and learn a lot from this trip. Before the trip I didn't expect that it would be like this. I thought it would be like I am going and traveling with my friends, and that I would only get to know my host sister, but nothing was as I expected. Everything were better, better than I could imagine.

For the first I have to say that Italian people are so friendly, kind, care about the others and you are not shy. You do what you want to and don't think too much, about what other people think. I really like that. I can often experience that people in the north are shy and care too much about what other people think. So this is what we should get better on. As you see I only have positive pictures when I think about you guys. It was like we have known each other for years, it is not only me and my host sister, but the whole group. We have made friends for life.

I have got to know and see your culture and lifestyles. To live there with an Italian family, is something you won't be able to experience if you are there as a tourist. It is something extraordinary, something I can not find the word for. You got to see and learn to live exactly as a real Italian. You had to orient yourself and change a bit of your lifestyles, when you are in the family. From this I have learn to know myself better, and I believe that the others also have.

Communication is an important part of living. English is a main language for all of us, who are from different part of the world. Isn't it amazing that we from different country can communicate with each other? Many people have learn English since they were very young, but still they can not speak English. Why? Because they only learn to write, read and lots of grammar, but they didn't have chance to speak English and that's the problem. This is why we should continue with this kind of exchange.

From this exchange I also have seen differences between both country, and there are of course both good and bad things. What was good in Italy, maybe we can take after in Sweden and so on. In this way the exchange has widen our knowledge and the way of living. It also remind us that this world is actually more than, only Sweden.
